Please read these Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") carefully before using our service. The use of skmeducationalmedia.com is only to be made by those of legal age. Therefore, we reserve the right to request proof of age at any stage to ensure that minors under this age are not using the website.
Any unauthorized or improper usage is strictly prohibited. By placing an order on this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all our Terms, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy. Submitting a request and/or payment implies that you are legally obligated to abide by these Terms.
1. Interpretation of Our Terms:
"Website" refers to skmeducationalmedia.com and its mobile website.
"Client", "you" or "yours" refers to anyone submitting, bidding, executing an order, uploading any information, and transferring payments on this Website.
"Company", "we" or "our" refers to a Website, operated by SKM Educational Media, registered at [insert company address here].
"Messaging System" is the software that ensures uninterrupted communication between the Client and the Writer or with a Support Team Representative.
"Order" refers to the actual request for a Writing Service sent to our Company by the Client. It includes particular requirements and specifications regarding the personal information to be used in the Product. It also refers to an electronic request for a paid Product from the Client, for a particular type of service offered through the Website. The order specifies both the requirements of the Client regarding the Product and the information that should be included in the final Product. We also call an order the completed Writing Service that was submitted in electronic form online through the Website by the Client. Such an order includes the final Product in its entirety, along with the requirements of the Client.
"Order Status" shows the progress of the Order and the current stage of work towards the completion.
"Writing Service" is provided by the Company and its Writers within a defined time frame and under strict Client's requirements. Writing Service encompasses all Order Statuses. "To deliver Writing Service" means to fulfill the Order in its entirety with a particular Product Type specified on the first Order stage.
"Product" is a result of delivered Writing Service. It comes as original content written as a result of the delivered Product Type in accordance with the Client’s inquiry as a digital document.
"Product Types" ("Product Type") are specified by the Company and are the only types of services to be delivered within the platform. Product Types should be understood as follows: Academic writing services (essays, theses, dissertations), Resume and Cover Letter writing services, CV writing and editing services, LinkedIn Profile writing services, Content Writing Services, Research Paper writing services, and more.
"Product Revision" is a request sent by the Client for editing the final version of the Product, based on the initial requirements of the Order.
"Quality Assurance Department" refers to the Company's structural unit responsible for evaluating and protecting the quality of our Services. The Quality Assurance Department holds responsibility for investigating all disputed claims and remains impartial towards all parties.
"Support Team" or "Support" refers to the Company's structural unit responsible for coordinating and assisting the Order and Writing Services.
"Writer" is a person who is engaged by the Company as a freelancer who provides Writing Services to the Client, according to the Company Agreement.
"Balance" refers to the personal account of the Client within the Company that stores Credits for the Client. Funds are added to their personal balance voluntarily to further compensate the price of the Order(s) at their own discretion.
2. Requirements to Use the Website
You represent and warrant that:
You are not located or residing in a country subject to an embargo imposed by a government, union, or intergovernmental organization, including, but not limited to, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, any EU member state, or the United Nations, or identified by such entities as a "terrorist-supporting" country.
You are not included on any government, union, or intergovernmental organization list of prohibited or restricted parties.
3. Order Placing and Registration
The Order is placed by completing the Order form provided on the Website. No Writing Service is provided by other means than by request.
The Order form will specify the Product Type, the level, the deadline, the type of service (writing or editing), the industry, and the position name. Custom instructions and any additional files should also be provided in the Order form. It is the Client's responsibility to provide accurate, complete, and final information in the Order form.
You will be requested to register by providing your email and password. Should any difficulties arise during the process of account creation, please contact our Support Representatives. In addition, should any of your contact details change over time, it is your sole responsibility to update your profile accordingly or inform Support about such changes.
Should multiple accounts be discovered, they will be merged with your initial account created during your first purchase.
4. Order Payment and Discounts
When placing an Order, you agree to pay for the Writing Service provided by the Company. The Company starts to process your Order only after the payment for the Writing Service is made and authorized.
In some cases, the Company may ask the Client to send a photo of the Client's credit card that was used for submitting the payment to the Company. The cardholder’s name and the last four digits on this card should be visible.
The payment for the Product is calculated according to the Company's Pricing and paid in advance, as stated in the Order form, once the scope of work is identified. The Company is not held responsible for Product delivery until the payment has been made in full and authorized.
Orders can be paid by Credits from your Personal Balance.
The Company reserves the right to offer discount and bonus programs to Clients at its own discretion using discount code(s) that the Client can use when filling out the Order form. If the code is not provided in the corresponding section of the Order form, the discount will not be given out by the Company for that particular order.
The Company commits to providing equal access to discount and bonus program information for each Client with no exceptions.
Upon your Order evaluation, the Company may request additional payment or additional time to work on your Order, as the volumes of work to be done can only be defined after a manual review is performed. The Client may decide at their own discretion whether to agree to the new Order parameters and total or refuse to cooperate with the Company. If the Client wishes to stop working with us, a refund will be processed according to the Refund Policy.
5. Your Personal Balance
When placing Orders and buying Products from the Company, you can use Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Maestro, JCB, and Diners Club International cards to recharge your Personal Balance. Should a case of partial or full payment reimbursement occur, you have the option to either proceed according to the Refund Policy or transfer the funds to Credits in your Personal Account.
1 credit equals 1 US Dollar and is stored in your Personal Account with no limit or expiration date. The number of Credits you store may be used to proceed with payment for your future Orders with the Company.
Your funds are transferred to Credits at your own discretion and ONLY with your approval. After the transfer of funds to Credits is complete, the amount you store in Credits is Non-Refundable and may be used to pay for your future Orders only.
As part of our loyalty program activities, the Company may provide you with a certain amount of Credits to further cover payments for your Future Orders.
6. Order Processing
Order Validation: The Company reserves the right to re-check the Order details following the final payment to confirm whether the requirements of the Order were met successfully as indicated by the Client. Should a mismatch occur, Support reserves the right to modify the Order to ensure that the Client's requirements have been adhered to.
Changes in Order Details: The Client and Support may provide changes to the Order only if the Writer has not started the work yet. No changes can be made once the Writer has started working on the Order. Should the changes in Order details affect the Product Type, level, industry, position name, or narrow the completion terms, the Client will be asked to provide additional compensation for the additional instructions.
Communication: The Client is highly encouraged to communicate with the Writer using the Messaging System or by contacting the Support team directly when seeking more information. The Client is responsible for providing the Writer with all necessary information for the provision of Services according to the Order, especially the main keywords. The Writer is not responsible for independently selecting and choosing keywords but will make use of the keywords to the best of their ability without excessive or artificial usage in the text, ensuring that the end result is a readable text with a coherent meaning, clear ideas, and a defined purpose for the Client.
Progress Tracking: The Client may track the progress of their Order by using their personal account where information about their Order and its status is displayed. The Client may also contact Support by using all communication means available, which are accessible 24/7, to get updates on the Order status.
Quality Guarantees: The Quality Assurance Department guarantees the quality of the work performed by the Writer, ensuring that the delivered content is of high quality and meets the required standards. This includes providing readable text that is free from artificial intelligence-generated content, plagiarism, and any other unethical practices. The department takes responsibility for conducting thorough quality checks to ensure the integrity and originality of the content, providing assurance to the Client that the delivered work is authentic and reliable.
Order Cancellation: If the Client needs to cancel an Order, it can only be done before the assigned Writer has started working on it. We can only accept order cancellations with proof and strong reasons.
7. Order Delivery
Responsibility for Delivery: The company is responsible for delivering the writing service, but the client must ensure that their communication channels are available (e.g., correct email address, no spam filters).
Delivery Notification: Clients are notified via email and in-app services. Seven days after the deadline, funds are automatically released to the writer.
8. Order Revision
Free Revisions: Clients can request unlimited revisions within 7 days of receiving the initial draft. After the 7-day window, revisions may be subject to additional fees.
Writer’s Right to Appeal: Writers can appeal if they feel revisions are unreasonable or if doubts arise.
Quality Assurance: The QA team ensures the quality of revisions. If the client doesn't request changes or approve the draft within 7 days, the order is automatically approved.
9. Right to Reimbursement
Company’s Responsibility: The company guarantees the timely and correct delivery of the product per the client’s specifications. Any failure to meet these commitments may result in partial or full reimbursement.
10. Use of Products
Personal Use: Payments for writing services are for personal, non-commercial use only.
Compliance with Laws: Services must adhere to the law and cannot be used for academic misconduct, such as plagiarism or cheating.
11. Intellectual Property
Company’s Ownership Before Payment: The company retains ownership of the intellectual property of the product until payment is made and the order is completed.
12. Company’s Responsibility
Delivery and Support: The company is not liable for issues with external service providers (e.g., internet or email providers) that affect delivery.
Liability for Quality: The company is liable for the quality of products and for the writer selection process.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
No Guarantee of Employment: The company does not guarantee job placement or any specific results from the products.
Use of Products: The company is not responsible for how clients use the delivered products.
14. Security and Privacy
Privacy Policy: The company values privacy and will not disclose personal or billing information to third parties.
Promotional Communications: Clients may receive promotional offers, but they can opt out.
15. Warranties
As Is Basis: The services are provided “as is,” with no warranties except those expressly outlined in the terms.
Transfer of Ownership: Once payment is made, the client owns the work. The company retains the right to use the work for marketing purposes.
16. Limitation of Liability
Exclusion of Liability: The company is not liable for issues such as website errors, communication problems, or misuse of services by clients.
17. Termination
Account Termination: The company reserves the right to terminate accounts for issues such as providing false information or engaging in fraudulent activity.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Legal Jurisdiction: The terms are governed by the laws of Larnaca Cyprus
19. Dispute Resolution
Negotiation and Arbitration: Disputes should first be resolved through negotiations. If that fails, the courts in Larnaca Cyprus will handle the dispute.
20. Amendments
Changes to Terms: The company may modify the terms at any time and advises clients to review them regularly.
